Come meet Fraternal Order of Eagles member and Harley rider Darrell Rall who will embark on his grueling effort this June 14 under the watchful eye of the Guinness Book of World Records. Darrell will be attempting to smash the current endurance record of a little over 19,000 miles to raise more than $15 million for diabetes research.
Food and Drink – Raffles - Live Music
Mark and Zina of Zina’s Restaurant and Bar are generously hosting this event and donating a portion of all sales to the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Mobilizing to Defeat Diabetes effort. The barbecue will be fired up, live music will be provided by the 3rd Degree Blues Band, and Darrell will be there to share his plan for a ride across North America to complete $25 million in funding for a new diabetes research center at the University of Iowa.
Win A Harley or $15,000
Raffle tickets will be available for a chance to win a 2011 Harley VRod or a custom made motorcycle built by Old School Choppers in Las Vegas or $15,000 in cash in two separate raffles (drawing to be held June 14, 2012 before the ride begins in Las Vegas). Donations of $25 will receive a complimentary ticket, and a donation of $100 will receive 5 chances to win.
.We will also be featuring a 50/50 raffle to raise funds for the research center. Tickets are $1 each or 25 for $20. You must be present at 5pm, April 22 to win 50/50 raffle.
